Upgrade to the internal layout and amenity of part of a local council’s offices. The existing office layout was dark, dated, inflexible and had been continually rearranged in an adhoc fashion as staff needs and volumes evolved.
Our design aimed to accommodate the current and future needs of the staff work spaces and amenity as well as introducing modern best practice principles for office design. These include the need to offer a diverse range of workspace options; flexibility in current and future layout, and incorporation of communal spaces. Incorporating good acoustic performance and visual privacy were pivotal to the success of the project.
